We aim to provide a safe, flexible, and professional environment for food entrepreneurs throughout Dane County.
Will I be sharing equipment during my reservation?
Yes. When you book time in one of our kitchens, you will have exclusive access to the preparation table space and the equipment within that kitchen space will be shared.
Will I need a health permit to operate out of Fairway Community Kitchen?
Yes. While our kitchens are licensed, each business or operator is responsible for obtaining the proper permits required to legally prepare and serve food to the public.
The permits required may vary depending on your business model and food operation. All operators are also required to maintain a current liability insurance policy.
Can I film or be filmed at Fairway Community Kitchen?
We welcome content creation and promotional filming within the kitchen. Be respectful of the people next to you.
Please note that our kitchens are shared community spaces, so we cannot guarantee complete privacy or quiet conditions during filming sessions.
Do you provide small appliances, pots, knives, and cooking utensils?
All equipment is listed on our Kitchen & Equipment page.

Additional cooking tools and equipment are available on a limited first-come, first-served basis. We recommend bringing any specialty tools or equipment your operation may require.
Do you offer dry and cold/freezer storage?
Yes. We offer a monthly rental fee for both dry storage and refrigerated/freezer storage options.
How do I reserve kitchen space?
Kitchen rental inquires can be made by filling out this form.
We offer both hourly rentals and monthly membership package options depending on your needs.

How far in advance can I reserve space?
Up to 6 months in advance.
What are my cleaning responsibilities?
Each renter is responsible for leaving the kitchen in the same or better condition than they found it. This includes:

Cleaning and sanitizing all work surfaces

Washing equipment used
-
Sweeping and mopping if necessary
-
Removing all trash
-
Returning equipment to its designated location
Additional cleaning fees may apply if the kitchen is not left in acceptable condition.
What is your cancellation policy?
Reservations canceled at least 72 hours in advance will receive a credit or refund according to our cancellation policy. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to charges.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes, we offer discounts based on the number of hours booked per month. You can find more information on our Rental Rates page.
